30th December 
The first of the planned Universal vinyl single box sets is due to be released on the 10th March next year.  The first set - "The Vinyl Singles Collection 1970s" - includes the 13 singles from "Paper Plane" through to "Living On An Island" (click here to see the cover design).  

19th December 
Copies of the radio promo CDs for the latest download only single "Hold You Back" are being sold on the Ebay auction website (click here to see cover).

16th December 
A new Quo compilation - "Keep 'Em Coming" - is due to be released by Music Club (MCDLX225) on the 24th February next year (click here to see cover).

13th December 
The second vinyl box set "The Vinyl Collection 1981- 1996" is to be released on the 24th February next year. 

5th December 
A copy of the 4 track promo 12" single for the "In The Army Now" album has been sold on the Ebay auction website for £500 (591 Euros).

27th November 
Demon records are to issue vinyl versions of "The Party Ain't Over Yet..." (on yellow vinyl), the Don't Stop" (on white vinyl) and the "Under The Influence" (on blue vinyl) albums on the 20th January next year.  Edsel with the same release date are reissuing CDs of the same three albums. 

25th November 
The new album dropped to the number 79 position this week in the UK charts.

18th November  The new album is now number 57 in the UK charts.

11th November 
The new album is now number 40 in the UK charts - week three.  The album reached the number 13 position in the Swiss charts, the number 26 position in the German charts, the number 37 position in the Austrian charts and the number 50 position in the Dutch charts.

4th November 
The new album dropped to the number 26 position this week in the UK charts.

2nd November 
Spectrum Audio (Universal Music's budget label) are releasing a 3 CD Quo box set with the title "Whatever You Want - The Essential Status Quo" (SPECESS5) on the 25th November (click here to see cover).

1st November 
The next single from the new album is to be "Hold You Back".

28th October 
The new album "Aquostic II - That's A Fact!" entered the UK charts today at the number 7 position.

21st October 
The new album "Aquostic II - That's A Fact!" was released today.

20th October 
A promo CD copy of the "Aquostic II - That's A Fact!" album was this week sold on the Ebay auction website for £155 (173 Euros).

16th October 
 A CD promo copy of the "That's A Fact" single has been sold on the Ebay auction website for £151 (168 Euros).

15th October

14th October 
The latest issue of the FTMO magazine has been sent to members of the fan club this week.  The magazine features an update about Rick's health - together with "Aquostic II - That's A Fact!" interviews with the band members and album producer.

28th September 
CD promo copies of the "That's A Fact" download only single have been produced.


25th September 
 
The next batch of deluxe 2 CD releases planned by Universal Music are the "Blue For You", the "Just Supposin'" and the "Never Too Late" albums.  The second vinyl box set "The Vinyl Collection 1981- 1996" is to be released early next year.

The latest issue of the FTMO magazine has been sent to members of the fan club this week.  Highlights include an interview with the band and an article looking at Andy Bown's work with other artists.

8th September 
The title track "That's A Fact" is the first single from the new album (download only).

22nd August

20th August 
A warm-up gig two days before the Hyde Park concert has been booked for Friday the 9th September at London's Union Chapel.

17th July 
An uncut copy of the "Rollin' Home" picture disc single has been sold on the Ebay auction website for £316 (378 Euros).

13th July 
A second vinyl box set "The Vinyl Collection 1981- 1996" is to be released by Universal Music.  The set is to include the albums from "Never Too Late" through to "Don't Stop" with a bonus LP with the following tracking: "I Wonder Why" b-side for the cancelled "Too Close To The Ground" single / "Milton Keynes Medley" from the "Red Sky" 12" single / "In the Army Now (Military Mix)" 12" single / "Dreamin' (Wet Mix)" 12" single / "The Quo Cake Mix" from the Spanish 12" single / "Running All Over The World (Extended Version)" 12" single version / "Burning Bridges (On And Off And On Again)" 12" single version / "Ain’t Complaining (Extended)" 12" single version / "The Wanderer (Sharon The Nag Mix)" from the "Who Gets The Love" CD single.

28th June 
A test pressing copy of Quo's first album "Picturesque Of  Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo" from 1968 has been sold on the Ebay auction website for £540 (650 Euros).

17th June 
"Aquostic II - One More For The Road" is due to be released by Universal Music on the 21st October.  The band are to preview the album at Radio 2's 'Festival In A Day' event in Hyde Park, London on the 11th September.

28th May 
The "12 Gold Bars" vinyl reissue is to be pressed on gold vinyl and exclusively available through Tesco.  The release is to to support Nordorff Robins. 

28th April 
The latest issue of the FTMO magazine has been sent to members of the fan club this week.  The magazine confirms that an 'Aquoatic 2' album is being recorded and includes an interview with the band members plus a retrospect review of Andy Bown's solo albums.

20th April 
"Pictures - Live At Montreux" is being re-issued on DVD and Blu-ray on the 13th May by Universal.

18th April 
The Quo compilation "12 Gold Bars" - originally released in 1980 - is being re-issued on vinyl for a charitable cause (Mercury 4787581).

16th April 
The John Eden remixed version of the "Rockin' All Over The World" album was released as a double LP today.

25th March 
The deluxe 2 CD releases of the "On The Level", "If You Can't Stand The Heat" and the "Whatever You Want" albums were issued today.

21st March 
The European & UK 2016 tour gigs were announced today.  The concerts in Zurich, Amsterdam, London & Birmingham are being recorded for 'live & now' releases.

27th February 
The John Eden remixed version of the "Rockin' All Over The World" album, released on CD last year, is being released as a double LP on 'record store day' the 16th April (click here to see the LP sleeve).  The LP includes the remixed versions of the original 12 tracks (Mercury 4754371).

21st February 
A DVD of the the FTMO convention in Minehead last year has been released "From The Makers Of... - The International Status Quo Fan Club Convention - Minehead: The Q & A Sessions".

1st February 
The official Status Quo website today announced that 2016 will be the last year that the band undertake a full touring schedule. 

13th January 
Demon records are due to re-issue the "Quid Pro Quo" album as a 2 LP set on white vinyl - including the bonus 'live' recordings - on the 29th January (DEMREC119).

5th January
